When can I renew my employment permit?

You can renew a Work Permit online 6 to 8 weeks before it expires.

 What are the documents required?

1) Scanned copy of the personal particulars page of the worker’s passport (including pages that have amendments)

2) Medical insurance

3) Work Permit renewal notice and application form

4) Security bond (for non-Malaysian workers if applicable for that type of pass)

5) Details for card delivery (only if the notification letter states that the worker will be getting a new card)

Who can do the renewal?

An employer or authorised third party has to apply for an Employment Permit renewal. 

If you are an overseas employer that does not have a registered office in Singapore, you need to get a Singapore-registered company to act as a local sponsor and apply on your behalf.
